Gruesome and Nightmarish Red-Band Trailer for THE GRUDGE

There are a lot of people still on the fence about this new horror film The Grudge. I can understand why, after all, there have already been three American-made Grudge movies, and they were all mediocre. Well, this next film is not those movies, this looks like a whole new horrific beast of a film, and today we have a red-band trailer for you to watch that’s actually pretty freakin’ terrifying.

I think the movie looks like it’ll be an enjoyable and scary horror flick. Producer Sam Raimi did previously say this new film is going to be “a much more intense experience” than the other films that have been made.

In The Grudge, “a single mother and young detective, Muldoon (Andrea Riseborough), discovers that a suburban house is cursed by a vengeful ghost that dooms those who enter it with a violent death. Now, she runs to save herself and her son from demonic spirits from the cursed house in her neighborhood.”

The movie is being directed by Nicolas Pesce and also stars John Cho, who is one of the characters who will be haunted and terrorized in the story. The cast also stars include Betty Gilpin, Lin Shaye and Demian Bichir. The Grudge hits theaters on January 3rd.
