ARTNEWSPRESS: The first trailer for Christopher Nolan’s action-thriller Tenet has just been released, and holy shit! This movie looks freakin’ incredible! All we’ve really known about the film up until this point is that it’s an action movie epic revolving around the world of international espionage. But, as you’ll see there’s so much more to it than that.
We know that John David Washington’s character fakes his death to join an elite group of people who are trying to prevent World War III and there’s a whole trippy element to it in which things that happen or haven’t happened yet can be reverse-engineered in real-time? I’m not quite sure what is going on, but there’s a big mysterious threat that has to be stopped, and I sure do love what I’m seeing from the film!
The movie also stars Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
Tenet opens in theaters on July 17, 2020 and I can’t wait to learn more about this film! I’m sold!
