‘Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom’ Image Showcases Jason Momoa In Stealth Suit

It seems as though DC Studios is finally ramping up its advertising for Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom. A new photo cover for the film’s DC Comics prequel showcases Jason Momoa in a stealth suit.

Arthur Curry’s stealth suit was one of the first looks fans ever got at Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, dating all the way back to behind-the-scenes photos in 2021. Jason Momoa has donned the costume again to promote the DC Studios film in an upcoming tie-in comic photo cover, along with a variant cover by DC Comics artist Belén Ortega.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom isn’t the only DC Studios project to get a tie-in with DC Comics,as The Flash received its own prequel comic earlier this year. Though given the film’s box office struggles, one can only hope Jason Momoa’s biceps in the stealth suit are able to pull enough fans to the theater to make a profit.
The future of the DC Universe

James Gunn and Peter Safran told journalists that their vision for the DC Universe includes locked scripts, wiggle room, and a unified storyline across film, television, animation, and video game projects. The two explained that the DC Universe could bring back elements from previous DC regimes, meaning that their eight-to-year plan is not a full reboot.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, and Blue Beetle have all been released following the announcement of the new DC Universe, with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom still slated to hit theaters in 2023. Will the characters from those movies make appearances in the new DCU? Only Gunn and Safran know.
