Keanu Reeves Returns As Constantine With Comic Accurate Look In Pic

Artnewspress :

A new concept design depicts Keanu Reeves returning to the role of John Constantine with a comic-book accurate look.

John Constantine has had his fair share of exposure over the years with a cult TV show, Matt Ryan’s appearances in the Arrowverse and the animated Justice League Dark films. However, John Constantine also notably had a cult film that featured Keanu Reeves as the Hellblazer back in 2005, and with Star Wars director J.J. Abrams working on Justice League Dark projects, many would like to see him return to the role.

Despite its cult status, one controversial element of the Constantine film that came out in 2005 was John’s hair color, which is traditionally blonde in comic books. If Keanu Reeves were to come back as John Constantine in the future, fans would like to see him sport a different look, and this design from digital artist “Spdrmnkyxxiii” on Instagram shows off what that could look like. Check out the artwork below.

What do you think of the design? Who is your favorite John Constantine? Keanu Reeves or Matt Ryan? Comment below and let us know!

Here is the synopsis for 2005’s Constantine:

Based on the DC Comics/Vertigo Hellblazer graphic novels and written by Kevin Brodbin and Frank Cappello, Constantine tells the story of John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), a man who has literally been to hell and back. When he teams up with skeptical policewoman Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Caught in a catastrophic series of otherworldly events, the two become inextricably involved and seek to find their own peace at whatever cost.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, Constantine stars Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Djimon Hounsou, Gavin Rossdale, and Peter Stormare.

Constantine is available on Blu-ray, DVD, and on Digital. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest surrounding Keanu Reeves and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
